No Adult Conversations And Denial

Trying to not get angry after the millionth time that I get spoken to like a child because someone can’t have an adult conversation even they have a different opinion or disagree with something. You can have different opinions and just agree to disagree. Why get angry at someone because of that? It’s so petty. I managed to stop the anger from exploding and just dropped it. Not worth the effort and blame. If I had continued it would be an argument and I would be to blame when it’s not my fault. I’ll even explain the conversation as it’s so stupid, but this happens with anything where they disagree. They log into an account they haven’t logged into for months.  The profile photo is now of someone else and units have changed in the settings. To me, it’s obviously a hack.   Probably to see if address or card are on file as they have a shop on the site and the site makes electrical items themselves too.Accounts get hacked all the time! This the site has multiple breaches too. One t...

I Want To Travel To Make & Record Memories For When I’m Bedbound

Do you ever just feel trapped and you know the future won’t get better? Being chronically ill, I know my health will get worse and worse as the months and years go by, and one day I’ll be bedbound again. Permanently. I want to travel as much as I can, even if just housesitting free to get a change of scenery and free heating. Better than freezing at home in a mouldy, damp, flooded constantly house. I wish I had a little money for a GoPro to record any drives and scenic views, as you can attach it to you and the car! I could record all the beauty I see and keep it forever, for when I can’t go out at all. I could make memories for future to look back on and remember the good times. I need this. It’s harder and harder just to move so I need this soon! Travel as much as I can and record it. Record most of it! That’s all I want. I can’t work due to chronic illness and disability now so I need money so it’s impossible. I can’t work from home either as it’s the chronic illnesses that cause it...

Struggling To Get By As A Chronically ill & Disabled Person In The UK

Being chronically ill and disabled in the UK is far from ideal. In fact it is that bad that I only earn just over £350 a month TOTAL INCOME! That is all I can get which is 100% correct, and yes I have spoken to the DWP hundreds of times as well as the council and the government. Even parliament many times! I can't work at all either, so this is all I get! I can't get UC and I can only get the national insurance credits from ESA for more years until I get enough full years NI credits. And why can't I get the money from ESA I hear you cry? BECAUSE I WORKED PART TIME INSTEAD OF QUITTING! If I had quit and applied for ESA instead of getting a part time job and killing myself at work each day with torture like pain, I would be able to get ESA. But because I didn't want to use money that some other disabled person might need more, I got a part time job instead and THAT is why I can't get the money from ESA and why I only get the NI credits. When you work full time you pay...

Welcome To My Blog!

Welcome to my blog. I have ran multiple blogs before, but not a personal one with my daily thoughts which is why I started this. I will be posting things such as: facts when people are spreading mistruths things you didn't know important news and many other things... I have posted on Medium many times, but I don't like how you monetize that, where as I can show AdSense ads on a blogger blog, so I thought I would give it a go. Had this blog for many years, but not posted the type of blog posts I have been posting to Medium . As I can't work due to chronic illness and disability, I thought I would try blogging to see if I can bring even just a few pounds in as anything helps. I do have a Ko-Fi page for tips if anyone enjoys my posts and wants to support me, but of course nothing expected ever!

Disability & Chronic Illnesses Show Who Your Real Friends Are

Do you ever just get fed up of no one caring about you anymore? I do. Before my health got bad, friends spoke to me, messaged me, but now I am lucky to ever get a message from anyone. All those people I thought were friends, clearly weren't. Pretty much all stopped messaging me, all bar 1. I don't get replies on any posts on Facebook where I thought my friends were. Some even unfriended. But most just ignore me and don't care. I have faced some right discrimination because of disability too, and I don't even get support from my friends for that. I just have a bunch of fake friends. I even posted before if anyone had anywhere I could stay and no one offered to help. I can't afford rent anywhere as I can't work, and even when I needed somewhere to stay for one night, no one helped me. Most didn't bother to reply. That says everything! I often post saying that I can't type long and spend most of my time in bed, but I don't even get a once a year messag...

Stop taking your stress out on others

You have to stop taking your stress out on others, especially work stress! Instead try to handle it better. Or if you simply can't do that, you still need to stop taking it out on others! It is simply not ok to be angry with others just because you have more work or a deadline. Speak with your manager if you have issues at work instead of just being horrible to others. It is never ok.

Guess Who's Back?

I decided to start blogging again. Personal blog. My health got worse over the years and I developed chronic illnesses such as chronic pain and chronic fatigue and became unable to work anymore, so I stopped blogging and doing fun things. I thought I would start up again as I have a lot to say about so many things. The cost of living has really had a huge effect on me as I live on a single benefit called PIP which is a little over £300 a month. That is all I get! That is why I am struggling to literally survive! This means that I have a lot to talk about after being treated like scum by the government when trying to claim the main disability benefit, ESA, which I still cannot get for more years. Meanwhile I live on just over £300 a month. Absolutely crazy. I will be blogging about many things such as disability, chronic illness, cost of living, getting around while disabled, thoughts on the UK government and so much more!  Drop a follow and follow my life.

Back To Blogging

Been a while but I’m blogging again. My health has deteriorated over the years due to chronic pain and chronic fatigue plus others. In a LOT of pain and severely fatigued all the time. I never get out of the house either. It’s really hard..

Back from holiday, now to lose the weight!

I was already dieting before I went on holiday, but I didn't want to diet on holiday, I wanted to enjoy the local foods. Gained a bit of the weight I lost back, but would rather enjoy myself while away than restrict myself. Now I am back from holiday, the diet resumes!

The Sims 3 and expansion packs on Windows 8 64 bit

I have the Sims 3 and all but 2 of the expansion/stuff packs to install on Windows 8 64 bit. Heard many people say they have problems running TS3 on Windows 8 but also a few people have no problems so giving it a go and will update later. UPDATE 1: Just finished installing them all (4 hours later!) and game loaded fine. Will see how it plays UPDATE 2: Plays fine!

iPad it is!

Decided to get the new retina display iPad instead of an Android tablet again. Love it already so much more than I ever did my old Android Tablet! Just looking for apps and games to install now!

iPad or Android

I am thinking of getting a new tablet PC. I currently have a Asus Transformer TF101 but it is laggy and the battery life is quite poor. Thinking of getting either a Sony Xperia Tablet Z or an iPad with Retina Display. Such a difficult choice because after using Android on a tablet, I am not very happy with it. I know that the new Xperia Tablet Z is a newer version of Android, but it is still Android. Apple keep devices updated for longer. Having been a iPhone user, I know that a device usually gets about 2 iOS updates, where as Android seems to be about 1. I love the look of apps on the iPad compared to Android too. The only thing making it hard is that the Xperia Tablet Z is thinner and lighter than the iPad. That is about it really. Such a hard choice as they are expensive to buy!

Losing weight is hard

I wish it was easier and didn't take as long to lose weight. Gaining weight seems to happen very quickly, but getting rid of it takes forever. Even when eating the right amount of calories, it is awful to have a week where you haven't lose a single pound. I wish there was a way to lose weight fast that actually worked where the weight stayed off and and wasn't dangerous to your health. I know that any lose weight fast plans are mainly your body losing water so you gain the weight when you stop the short diet, but it still doesn't stop me wanting a quick fix.

Lowepro camera case

I picked up my Lowepro Tahoe 30 camera case for my Sony HX20V camera. I previously had a Lowepro Rezo 30 which was too small for this camera and also my previous Panasonic TX20. The Tahoe 30 fits well, albeit a little too large, but only by a little bit. I would rather have it a little bit big than much too tight like the Rezo 30.

Camera for my travels

In preparation for my travelling in May, I bought myself a new camera. I wasn't happy with the low light photo quality of my old Panasonic TZ-20 so I have got a new Sony HX20V. I attend conventions and concerts where light is not really an option so other than getting a DSLR which could be hard to carry around, I opted for a compact but good quality in low light camera. I spent hours over days researching, and this was the best for me. Just bought the Lowepro Tahoe 30 case for it. Will give a review once I pick it up. Just looking for a spare battery and a charger now.

It's been a while

Since I lost lots of weight in 2010 I started travelling more which meant sampling lovely food around the world, which lead to me gaining weight again. Unhappy with the fact some of my clothes don't fit now, I am on a diet again and losing weight as I speak. I am going to be travelling around Europe in May and won't have lost all the weight I need to by then, so I will have to continue the diet when I get back as I am not going to stop sampling local delicious foods when I might not have the chance again. I will be going from the UK to Barcelona - Rome - Brussels - Amsterdam and then back home. Should be a brilliant 2 weeks to explore Europe. I have always wanted to go to Italy so that is the place I am looking forward to most. I have a great love for Italian food so I will enjoy the food there although my waistline might not agree!

Tokyo

I went to Tokyo on 9th March for 2 weeks. After a terrible flight with Aeroflot, I arrived in Tokyo tired, but eager to explore. After over 24 hours of no sleep I went to my hotel to drop my things off before I went exploring. I had an amazing time! I will never fly Aeroflot again though after numerous problems. Bag drop took over 30 minutes, then they couldn't change my seat as they didn't "have the hand" as they put it. They don't speak English other than one or two phrases and were rude a few times. This happened on both legs of the journey. The entertainment system got rebooted over 5 times without and announcement either. I could go on and on, but I won't. Next month, Amsterdam!

Must have travel apps

I always take my iPhone and my Android Asus Transformer Tablet with me when I go travelling. Here are some of my must have travel apps: Kayak This is my must have. I have tried Tripit, Tripcase and many others, but I like this one the best. Completely free and very easy to use. It also can show you your flight status Yelp This is brilliant for finding out restaurant reviews Tripadvisor This is the most popular way to read reviews on attractions, hotels and restaurants. Brilliant app Opentable Make a restaurant booking with this app Flightaware Very useful for tracking your flight Voxer Great little app that lets you send your friends messages, photos and voice recordings even when they are offline Viber Great for making free calls over wifi, but you can't leave offline messages which is a shame Foursquare Not really a must have, but very useful. I use foursquare to check-in to places let my friends know where I am, unlock badges and sometimes offer...

Sitting at Frankfurt Airport

I am sat here in Frankfurt airport with a long wait for a my flight and I always find myself people watching. I wonder where they are going and where they are from. On another note, I wish the kid sat behind my would shut up crying or moving about. Go buy it some sweets or something. It is making baby noises and it is about 10. Hope they aren't on my flight. The parents should notice that they are annoying everyone around and sort them out. Anyway, where was I?... You see people in airports with 3 or 4 bags for hand luggage when all airlines allow 1, 2 at most. They always have huge bags or cases too and the airlines wonder why the overhead storage doesn't have enough room for everyones bags. That really pisses me off. Seriously, enforce the hand luggage allowance! 4 hours wait for my flight left. Some airports you can pass the time quite well, but not this one. It is quite depressing and I want to strangle the kids behind me. Now they have started singing something over and ov...

Target weight reached

Well I did it. I got to my target weight! Lost loads of weight and it took months, but I am glad I did it.
